1943 – 2015
AUBURN — Dori D. Duchette, 72, of Lewiston, died Monday, June 8, at Androscoggin Hospice House in Auburn after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Lewiston on Jan. 29, 1943, to parents, Robert L. and Grace Duchette. She graduated from Edward Little High School and made a career as a secretary until she became disabled.
She was an avid reader of different kinds of books, including westerns.
She is survived by her sister, Terry Colby; brother, Ron Duchette, both of Lewiston; nephew, Craig Colby of Lewiston; and cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, all of Maine.
She was predeceased by her parents.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the people who helped her out during her last days and troubling times.
