I believe that most of the elected officials in Augusta should be impeached, not the governor. They pass laws that give the immigrants everything and want the taxpayers in Maine to pay for it for 24 months — everything they want.
Why don’t legislators just give immigrants a lifetime of no taxes and double mine? I have lived here all my life. Also, it doesn’t seem too difficult for officials to find jobs for immigrants, but they can’t find jobs for people who have lived here most of their lives.
State officials seem to want long-time residents to change for the immigrants. The immigrants should be the ones doing the changing. If people here went to the immigrants’ countries, those countries wouldn’t change.
I am tired of paying taxes just so immigrants don’t have to do anything. And I am tired of all the special treatment for special-interest people.
