FARMINGTON — Detectives from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Chesterville resident Thursday who had a Massachusetts fugitive from justice warrant issued for him on a charge of sexually assaulting a minor, according to Sheriff Scott Nichols.
Mark Bennoch, 53, who was living on West Road in Chesterville, was arrested Thursday by detective Ken Charles, Nichols said.
Charles was notified Wednesday by a detective with the Massachusetts State Police in Bristol County that Bennoch had the warrant issued for his arrest, Nichols said.
Detective Stephen Charles accompanied Ken Charles to Chesterville to make the arrest.
Crowley was taken to the Franklin County Detention Center and is being held pending extradition.
