GARDINER — Carlee Long converted the game-winning goal off a corner as Leavitt discharged Gardiner 2-1 in girls’ soccer action Friday.
The Tigers (5-3-1) took an early lead when Anna Chadwick blasted a shot from 18 yards out to the top corner at 21:01 of the first half.
The Hornets (4-2-4) got even with 14:12 left in the game when Nikki Daigle redirected Amanda Poulin’s corner kick.
Goalie Tabytha Hembree made 12 saves for Gardiner, while goalie Angi Daigle displaced three shots to earn the win in net for Leavitt.
Edward Little 5, Skowhegan 0
AUBURN — Piper Norcross led a group of four players to record goals Friday as Edward Little overpowered Skowhegan, 5-0, in a KVAC girls’ soccer matchup.
Norcross led the Red Eddies (3-4-3) with two goals, while Ally MacKenzie, Grace Beaudet and Emily Jacques also tallied. Olivia Jensen and Lauren Berube also contributed with assists.
Francesca-Beth Haines needed only one save to preserve the shutout, while Tatumn Parker turned aside 15 shots for Skowhegan.
Richmond 2, Rangeley 0
RANGELEY — Miranda Martin netted a pair of goals in the second half as Richmond rolled to a 2-0 win over Rangeley in EWC girls’ tilt Friday.
Destiny Anair also contributed for the Bobcats (7-1) with an assist.
Syndey Tilton made three saves for Richmond, while Syndey Royce deflected 14 shots for the Lakers (4-3).
Camden Hills 5, Lewiston 0
CAMDEN HILLS — Charlotte Messer recorded a hat trick to lead Camden Hills to a 5-0 shutout victory over Lewiston in girls’ soccer action Friday afternoon.
Messer scored twice and assisted on a goal, while Emma Gutheinz scored and assisted on a Messer goal in the first half for the Windjammers.
Goalies Kelsey St.Cyr made 11 saves and Kallie May a single save for the Blue Devils, while goalie Jana Eliana stopped two for Camden in the winning effort.

AUBURN — Ryan Lutryzkowski fired a nice blast from the top left corner early in the second half to propel St. Dom’s to a 3-0 victory over Mt. Abram in an MVC boys’ soccer tilt Friday.
Once Lutryzkowski broke things open for the Saints (6-2-1), Austin Roy and Gavin Bates also tallied to complete the scoring.
Alex Michaud didn’t need a single save to notch the shutout, while Seth Thomas deflected 15 shots between the posts for Mt. Abram (3-5-1).
Nokomis 5, Spruce Mountain 1
JAY — Colby Fredette led a group of five players to record goals as Nokomis overpowered Spruce Mountain, 5-1, in a late-season MVC boys’ soccer matchup Friday.
Chandler Cossar, Cam Warren, Matt Lyford and Jake Erskine also tallied in a well-balanced attack. Landon Brochu scored the lone goal for Spruce Mountain at the 29:41 mark of the first half.
John Wilcox made three saves for Nokomis, while Mike Dyke deflected six shots for the Phoenix.

RUMFORD — Aleski Pirttijoki registered a hat trick Friday to lead Mountain Valley to a 6-0 rout over Telstar in a late-season MVC boys’ soccer matchup.
Sonke Hanneken chipped in for the Falcons (8-2) with two goals, while a single tally by Lucas Bukowski completed the scoring.
Jacob Beauchesne didn’t need a single save to notch the shutout, while Tanner Wheeler deflected 11 shots between the posts for Telstar (3-6-1).
Richmond 3, Rangeley 0
RANGELEY — Taylor Sawyer led a trio of players to record goals Friday as Richmond hustled to a 3-0 victory over Rangeley in EWC boys’ soccer action.
Matt Reny and Cody Tribbett also tallied for the Bobcats (6-2) to complete the scoring.
Zach Small made six saves for Richmond, while Tim White turned aside 10 shots for the Lakers (2-4-1).
Buckfield 6, Vinalhaven 0
VINALHAVEN — Jon Randolph scored a hat trick as Buckfield sailed to a 6-0 victory over Vinalhaven in boys’ soccer action Friday afternoon.
The Bucks (8-1) led 3-0 at the half. Sidney Jackson contributed a goal
and an assist for Buckfield.
Goalie Isles Blackington made 10 saves for the Vikings (3-4), while goalie Jake Kraske turned away six to earn the win in net for Buckfield.
Gardiner 3, Leavitt 1
TURNER — Noah Lind put the Hornets on the board first, but the Tigers scored three times in the final 10 minutes of the first half to secure a 3-1 victory over Leavitt in boys’ soccer action Friday.
The Tigers (4-4-1) were powered with goals from Casey Bourque, Trevor Badus and Peter DelGallo.
Goalie Lucas Perry made seven saves for the Hornets (3-6-1), while goalie Kenneth Moore repelled five to earn the win in net for Gardiner.

Mountain Valley 3, Telstar 0
RUMFORD — Chelsea Allison netted a goal in each half as Mountain Valley rolled to a 3-0 win over Telstar in late-season MVC field hockey action Friday.
Lexy Duguay gave the Falcons (8-4) a 1-0 lead in the first frame with an assist from Marissa Crosby. Duguay provided the assist on both of Allison’s goals in an effective cross execution.
Alyssa Akers made four saves for Mountain Valley, while Blair Stevens turned aside eight shots for the Rebels (4-8).
Lisbon 7, Hall-Dale 0
LISBON — After a three-goal first half, Lisbon never eased off the gas and raced on to record a 7-0 victory over Hall-Dale Friday.
Chase Collier, Charlotte Mooney and Hannah Berube led the Greyhounds (3-8) with two goals each, while Morgan Fenderson also tallied to complete the scoring.
Mikaylia Harnden needed only two saves to notch the shutout, while Kaylee Magee turned aside an impressive 22 shots for the Bulldogs.
Dirigo 4, Boothbay 2
BOOTHBAY — Lauren Henderson scored a pair of goals to lead Dirigo to a 4-2 victory over Boothbay in field hockey action Friday afternoon.
Sydney Menders scored both of the Seahawks’ unassisted goals, tying Dirigo 2-2 at the midpoint.
Emma Lueders and Sabrina Daoud assisted each other on goals to end the first half and start the second half for the Cougars.
Daoud also assisted Henderson’s insurance goal with 6:08 remaining in regulation for Dirigo.
Lake Region 1, Poland 0
POLAND — Paige Davis scored on a rebound off the goalie pads with 21:45 remaining in regulation to lift lake Region to a 1-0 victory over Poland in field hockey action Friday afternoon.
Morgan Brousseau had a strong defensive effort for the Knights (3-9), limiting Lake Region’s opportunities.
Goalie Katherine Springer mad 12 saves for Lakers (8-4), while goalie Ashley Cloutier prevented two to earn the win in net for Poland.
