FARMINGTON — The Greater Franklin Development Council is sponsoring Entrepreneurs Connect, open to area entrepreneurs and the public. It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, at the UMF North Dining Hall, 111 South St., Farmington. Food will be served.

Four entrepreneurs will share their journeys, including Tom Hildreth of Carrabassett Coffee. Several state organizations will also be attending, including the Department of Economic and Community Development, Maine Angels, The Center for Entrepreneurial Development and Maine Technology Institute. Rebecca Webber, attorney at Skelton Taintor and Abbott, will guide attendees through the hiring process.

Entrepreneurs planning to attend should register online no later than Friday, Oct. 9, at: entrepreneursconnect.eventbrite.com. Cost: $25, $10 for UMF students with ID.
