WINTHROP — The wedding of Caitlin Maureen O’Connell and Charles Richard Beardsley was held on Sept. 19 at the YMCA Camp in Winthrop. Heidi Dolloff, notary public, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Beardsley is the daughter of Linda and Peter Laplante of Rumford and Greg O’Connell of Lewiston. Mr. Beardsley is the the son of Charles and Rebecca Beardsley of Indiana and Leisas Young of Dixfield.
The bride wore a strapless fitted gown and carried a bouquet of white roses and yellow sunflowers.
Chelsie Diconzo, sister of the bride and Angela Burgess, best friend, were matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Child, Danielle Gallant, Stephanie Gallant, Samantha Gallant and Amanda Archer. Maia Belskis, Taylor Belskis and Sophia Archer were junior bridesmaids. Ayla Burgess, daughter of the matron of honor, was flower girl.
Adam Mckay, best friend and Coty Beardsley, brother, performed the duties of best men. Ushers were B.J. Bassett, Keith Cook, Troy Houghton and Shawn O’Connell Jr. Junior ushers were Dominic Archer and Connor Skidgell. Landon Beardsley, son of the couple, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the YMCA Camp in Winthrop. The couple is residing in Rumford.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of Mountain Valley High School and a 2014 graduate of the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is currently employed at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center as a registered nurse.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Dirigo High School and attended the University of Maine at Farmington. He is currently employed at the Auburn Walmart as an assistant manager.
