Lewiston seems to have a problem with the number of new students entering the school system. Why so many? And why so many that the school system didn’t know were coming?
Is it because of more immigrants coming in? Or, maybe the ones here are having too many children? I have no problem with immigrants in general — most of us came from immigrants at one time. But there seems to be a problem here.
I am sure there are a lot of people who will now call me racist, but I am concerned about the number of new students and what that will do to the schools and how that will affect the quality of life in Lewiston. If that is not being politically correct, too bad.
