BRUNSWICK (AP) — A former Bowdoin College student accused of raping a 20-year-old female student on the Brunswick campus has been indicted on a felony charge of gross sexual assault.

Police say 21-year-old Logan Taylor sexually assaulted the girl on May 24 in his dorm room after they ate pizza and drank shots of liquor. He appeared in court in Portland in May and was not required to enter a plea. He was later released.

When talking with police, the woman said Taylor had raped her that night on campus. She said Taylor carried her to the bedroom and did not threaten her or hold her down.

The Portland Press Herald reported (http://bit.ly/1QqU6R3 ) Taylor faces up to 30 years in prison if convicted. It was unclear if he had a lawyer.
