AUBURN — Chelsea Canedy, family support worker, will present a free parenting program at the Auburn Public Library at 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9.

The program, Connect More: Tools for Fostering Long-lasting Relationships with your kids, is designed to help attendees improve relationships with their children now and into the future.

Canedy has been working for Saint Andre Inc. supporting children and families since 2009. She specializes in brain-based, attachment-focused techniques, helping parents better understand how human brains function in order to parent in a more effective, connected way. She is also involved in meditation instruction. Canedy has two children of her own, a 4-year-old girl and a 5-month-old boy, who give her ample opportunity to take her own advice.

The workshop is free and open to the public.
