BETHEL — A 47-year-old local woman was killed Friday when vehicles collided on Intervale Road, officials said.

Police said Susan Isham died when vehicles collided head-on at about 3 p.m. The crash occurred near the intersection of Intervale and East Bethel roads.

The Oxford County Sheriff’s Department was investigating the wreck along with Maine State Police. A section of Intervale Road was shut down while investigators reconstructed the crash site.

Further details about the collision were not available Friday night.
