Saint Dominic Academy has announced the Students of the Month for grades kindergarten through 12.

Recently, students at the Auburn Campus attended a monthly assembly where robotics teacher Tom Ustach announced the students selected for exemplary character, service, leadership and scholarship. One student from each grade is selected and an additional student is named as the overall student of the month.

The selected students are Sean Connelly, grade seven; Skye Rogers, grade eight; Isabella Frenette, freshman; Hunter Emery, sophomore; Emily Dionne, junior; Nathan Richard, senior; and Abby L’Abbe, senior, student of the month.

“We love recognizing our students for the many acts of kindness they do every day,” Auburn Campus Principal Joline Girouard said. “This is one small way the school can reward them.”

On Oct. 20, elementary students gathered for Mass at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Lewiston. Following Mass, Principal Donald Bilodeau announced the students of the month for the Lewiston Campus. They were selected for consistently showing self-respect, perseverance, integrity, responsibility, in-control and teamwork, or SPIRIT.

They are Avianna D’Auteuil, kindergarten; Charles Marcotte, first grade; Alyssa Davis, second grade; William White, third grade; Campbell Perryman, fourth grade; Natalie Brocke, fifth grade; and Myriah Blais, sixth grade.

“This is a new program for the Lewiston Campus, Bilodeau said. “The students and their parents are excited for this recognition. Many of our students show these characteristics every day and I look forward to highlighting them in future months.”
