I know this blog is a “travel” blog, but it’s been a busy week since last posting.  Pumpkin carving, Halloween, and then on Tuesday, it was “Election Day.”  I am a local “poll clerk” in Lisbon’s Ward Two.  My mother, a civic minded gal since her graduation from St. Dom’s Academy back in the day, served Ward Two as a “poll clerk” for about 30 years and when she retired, I took her place.
