PORTLAND — The wedding of Anna Lee Geismar and Cassidy John Neal was held at 5 p.m. on June 20 at the Maine Irish Heritage Center in Portland. Torsten Heycke, uncle of the bride, officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Neal is the daughter of John and Susan Geismar of Minot. Mr. Neal is the son of Christine Neal of Walpole, N.H., and the late John Neal.
Tiffany Snelling, sister of the bridegroom, served as matron of honor. Craig Vickers, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man.
A reception followed at the Portland Club in Portland, after which the couple traveled to the Virgin Islands. They are residing in White River Junction, Vt.
The bride is a graduate of Hebron Academy and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in English. She is currently attending the Vermont School of Law.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Walpole High School and the University of Southern Maine with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. He received his master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University and his JD degree from the University of New Hampshire School of Law. He is currently working for the School of Law.
