RUMFORD — Among the calls answered by the Police Department recently were:
* Nov. 24, 12:58 p.m.: Darryl Streeper, 27, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release. He was transported to the Oxford County Jail. Court date of Jan. 11.
* Nov. 24, 12:11 p.m.: Waldo Street business reported a shoplifter. Patrolman James McLamb is investigating.
* Nov. 23, 10:24 p.m.: Troy Blanchard, 26, of Rumford, was arrested on Essex Avenue on a charge of domestic violence assault, refusing to submit to arrest, and later charged with disorderly conduct. Blanchard was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris and ordered to appear at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 11 in Rumford District Court.
* Nov. 23, 8:33 p.m.: William Hamner, 36, of Mexico, was arrested on York Street on a charge of operating after suspension. He was released on $600 unsecured bail and ordered to appear at 8:30 a.m. Jan. 11 in Rumford District Court.
* Nov. 23, 12:41 p.m.: Essex Avenue resident reported damage to his garage where someone attempted to break in. Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating.
* Nov. 22, 3:48 p.m.: Michael Leonard, 37, of Ohio, was arrested on Waldo Street on an outstanding warrant for two counts of forgery in Ohio. He was transported to Oxford County Jail in Paris for extradition.
* Nov. 22, 6:38 a.m.: Brandon Milligan, 22, of Jay was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence-first offense. He is to appear Jan. 11 in Rumford District Court. He was released on $800 unsecured bail.
* Nov. 22, 12:57 a.m.: A Bridge Street business reported a male stole beer. Detective Peter Casey is investigating.
* Nov. 21, 10 a.m.: Prospect Avenue resident reported property $80 worth of property stolen. Patrolman Brad Gallant is investigating.
* Nov. 20, 6:28 p.m.: Robert Gilbert, 57, of Rumford was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct at the Rumford Hospital by Officer Matthew Desroches. He is to appear in court Jan. 11. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.
* Nov. 20, 8:58 a.m.: Bryan Jenkins, 48, of Rumford, was arrested on Cumberland Street on a warrant from Bath charging failure to appear. He was transported to Oxford County Jail.
* Nov. 17, 7:31 p.m.: Corey Provencher, 32, of Mexico was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld for an incident on Cumberland Street and charged with criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, violation conditions of release and attempted possession of a drug. Provencher posted $2,000 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear Jan. 11 in Rumford District Court.
