GREENE — The Greene Christian Community Church, 398 Route 202, will hold several events during December and January.

From 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, there will be a free family movie night pajama party with a “Polar Express” theme.

Sunday’s worship service is at 10:10 a.m.

The Christmas Eve candlelight worship will be at 5 p.m. followed by refreshments.

From 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, there will be a Christmas party/carol sing at The Meadows Senior Housing as part of the church’s monthly outreach.

The church is sending five of its members from Jan. 17-29 to an orphanage in Haiti to bear gifts and to help finish building the orphanage and church. Help is needed to feed and house the children. The worship service at 10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, will be a send-off for the missionary team with a potluck lunch to follow. Everyone is invited.

The worship service on Sunday, Jan. 31, will feature pictures from the returning missionaries to show everyone what was accomplished and what still needs to be done. A potluck lunch will follow.
