MEXICO – The Police Department responded to 73 incidents over the past week, including the following:

* Jan. 12 at 8:40 p.m.: Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said officers responded to two reports of tractor-trailer trucks off roads during Tuesday evening’s snowstorm.

“At 8:40 p.m., we found that a tractor-trailer had gone off-road near the Family Plaza on Main Street,” he said. “We called Empty Pockets Towing in Dixfield, and they were able to get the truck back on the road.”

At 11 p.m., officers received another report that a tractor-trailer was off Route 2 near Coulthard’s Pool.

“We called Empty Pockets back to Mexico, and they were able to get that truck back on the road too,” Hodsdon said.

Nobody was injured in either incident.

“We have suspects, and right now, we’re waiting to hear back from any victims before charging them with anything,” Hodsdon said.
