DIXFIELD — Leo and Lori Kersey of Dixfield proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke L. Kersey of Carthage, to Jacob B. Averill, also of Carthage, son of Barry and Pam Averill also from Carthage.

Miss Kersey is a 2011 graduate of Dirigo High School and is employed at Pinnacle Health and Rehabilitation of Canton as a CRMA.

Mr. Averill is a 2009 graduate of Dirigo High School and is employed at Dixfield Discount Fuel of Rumford as an apprentice in heating and oil technician.

Their wedding will be held on Saturday, Oct. 1.
