POLAND – Works by three artists are on display in the Nettie Ricker Art Gallery in the Maine State Building on Poland Spring Hill. Watercolors featuring quilts and actual quilts by Annette Lavalee of Auburn and Neily Harris of Monmouth have been hung in the gallery along with oil paintings and etchings by Andrea van Voorst van Beest of Pownal.
There is also an ongoing display of artwork by local artists Gene Fuller of West Poland, Katherine Rohnert of West Poland, Mike Welch of Standish and David Tibbetts of New London, N.H. The display will continue through October, with artists added on a rotating basis.
The gallery is on the third floor of the Maine State Building. Hours: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday. FMI: call 998-4142.
