WILTON — The Healthy Community Coalition has released its summer events with the theme Family Fun in the Sun.
HCC staff will be on hand to encourage participants to enjoy a lawn game, and to try out the new canoes, kayaks and paddle boards free of charge that were purchased for community use.
Events include:
Saturday, June 25: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Stratton Family Fun Days
Saturday, July 23: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Farmington Summer Fest
Saturday, Aug. 4: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Kineowatha Park, Wilton
Friday, Aug. 5: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wilton Blueberry Festival
Friday, Aug. 19: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Phillips Old Home Days
Sunday, Sept. 21, and Wednesday, Sept. 24: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Farmington Fair
Students will have access to the canoes, kayaks and paddle boards for free throughout the summer. A small fee will be collected from others.
