AUBURN — The closure of Summer Street between Horizon Drive and Park Avenue will continue on Thursday.
The Auburn Public Works department initially announced it would be closed for half the day Wednesday while crews made drainage improvements to the road. The department later extended that closure to include the entire day on Wednesday and then extended it to the entire day on Thursday.
The road is closed to all traffic, including emergency vehicles. Traffic is being detoured around the construction and residents are urged to seek alternate routes.
