• Nov. 14, 8:23 a.m.: Report of a burglary and theft at a Hancock Street business. Sometime overnight, a person or persons entered the building and stole cash from the business. Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating.
• Nov. 14, 1:39 a.m.: Nathan Blodgett, 18, of Rumford was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release by police officer Matthew Desroches. He was transported to Oxford County Jail. Court date is Jan. 9.
• Nov. 12, 8:52 a.m.: An Erchles Street resident reported damage done to her vehicle’s tires. An unknown person had thrown nails in her driveway. Police officer Brad Gallant is investigating.
• Nov. 11, 5:54 p.m.: A Waldo Street business reported a shoplifter. Sgt. Tracey Higley responded. Krista Orsie, 36, of Rumford was summonsed on a charge of theft. Court date of Jan. 9.
• Nov. 11, 12:01 a.m.: A Maine Avenue resident reported being assaulted a week earlier. Police officer Lawrence Briggs is investigating.
• Nov. 10, 2:52 p.m.: A Prospect Avenue resident reported damage done to her car windshield while she was parked on Maine Avenue for the day. Damage was consistent with that caused by a BB gun. Sgt. Doug Maifeld is investigating.
• Nov. 9, 11:34 a.m., James Irish, 32, of Dixfield was stopped on Waldo Street on charges of speeding and loud exhaust. Irish was arrested on a charge of operating after suspension and has a court date of Jan. 9. He was released on $600 unsecured bail.
