• Nov. 14, 6:42 p.m.: An Erchles Street resident reported the theft of building materials. Sgt. James Bernard is investigating.
• Nov. 15, 12:23 p.m.: A Waldo Street resident reported the theft of furniture from his porch. Rumford police officer Matthew Desroches is investigating.
• Nov. 16, 10:29 a.m.: A Rumford Avenue business reported that there had been a burglary at the business and several items were stolen. Someone had broken a window to get in. A list of property is being made by the owner. Cpl. Lawrence Winson is investigating.
• Nov. 17, 3:12 p.m.: Adam Cormier, 22, Rumford was arrested by Cpl. Winson on a charge of probation hold per his probation officer. Cormier was transported to Oxford County Jail.
• Nov. 18, 2:18 p.m.: Report of a shoplifter at a Waldo Street business. Michael A. Pepe, 23, of Rumford was summonsed on Waldo Street by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on a charge of theft (shoplifting). Pepe is scheduled to appear in Rumford Unified Court on Jan. 9.
• Nov. 18, 9:48 p.m.: A 15-year-old Dixfield juvenile was summonsed on a charge of theft (shoplifting) on Waldo Street. Juvenile was released to parents and scheduled to appear in Rumford Juvenile Court on Jan. 23.
• Nov. 19, 8:57 a.m.: Michael Ulmer, 39, Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Tracey Higley on Franklin Street on a warrant charging unpaid fines. Ulmer was transported to Oxford County Jail.
• Nov. 19, 10:15 a.m.: A Spruce Street resident reported that her unlocked car had been entered and rummaged through. A phone charger and change had been taken. Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating.
• Nov. 19, 10:17 a.m.: A Prospect Avenue resident reported her vehicle was stolen sometime overnight. Sgt. Tracey Higley is investigating. The vehicle was located in Dummer, New Hampshire. The case remains under investigation.
• Nov. 20, 11:41 a.m.: Leon A. Williams, 37, of Rumford was arrested by Sgt. Douglas Maifeld on Maine Avenue on a charge of domestic assault with priors. Williams, ineligible for bail, was transported to Oxford County Jail and will appear at Rumford Unified Court on Dec. 12.
• Nov. 20, 9:13 a.m.: Officers responded to a Hartford Street apartment on a report of subjects fighting. Warnings were issued. Approximately 30 minutes later, they were called back. Mohammed Ahmed, 34, Rumford was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal trespass. He was transported to Oxford County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 9, 2017.
• Nov. 21, 7:39 a.m.: Report of a Crescent Avenue business burglarized over the weekend. Det. George Cayer is investigating.
