• Dec. 27, 11:29 a.m.: Police responded a car-pole crash on Harlow Hill, where Jessica True, 41, of Rumford suffered a medical issue, Police Chief Roy Hodsdon said. She suffered minor injuries but refused treatment from Med-Care and left in a private vehicle.

• Dec. 25, 11:43 a.m.: Brandy Thompson, 18, Mexico, was arrested by Officer Caroline Casey on charges of disorderly conduct and violating condition of release. She was transported to the Oxford County Jail in Paris.

• Dec. 23, 1:31 a.m.: Officer Dean Benson responded to Circle K on Main Street where a 19-year-old Mexico female had been assaulted. Hodsdon said the woman was bleeding from the neck and was disorientated. Police determined she was assaulted at her Main Street residence and fled about half a mile to the store. She was transported to Rumford Hospital, where she was treated and released. Hodsdon also called REACH (Rape Education and Crisis Hotline), which responded with an advocate to assist the woman. The next day, Lt. Dan Carrier and Officer Caroline Casey arrested a 17-year-old Mexico man at his Main Street residence, charging him with Class B aggravated assault with strangulation. The man was transported to the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland.

• Dec. 20: A Mexico resident turned in an iPad found on the Roxbury Road. The owner can call the Mexico Police Department at 364-5686 to claim it.
