LEWISTON — Mayor Robert Macdonald announced his committee appointments on Tuesday at the City Council meeting.
Earlier in December, the city released a public notice in search of candidates for committees such as the Board of Appeals, Board of Assessment Review, Finance Committee, and Planning Board.
The majority of the posts do not require council approval. Appointments made to the 911 Committee and library board of trustees were unanimously confirmed by the council Tuesday.
The list of the Macdonald’s 2017 committee appointments is:
Board of Appeals:
Patricia Gagne, five-year term
Paula Masselli, five-year term
Board of Assessment Review:
Steve Costello, three-year term
Finance Committee:
Matthew Shaw, three-year term
L/A Community Forestry Board:
John T. Butler, three-year term
Zam Zam Mohamud, three-year term
Historical Preservation Review Board:
Douglas Hodgkin, three-year term
Rick Morris, three-year term
Planning Board:
John T. Butler, five-year term
Pauline Gudas, five-year term
911 Committee:
Heather Hunter, finance director – two-year term
Library board of trustees:
Elizabeth Clifford, three-year term
John Painter, three-year term
Darby Ray, three-year term
