LEWISTON — Promise Early Education Center has announced its upcoming classes.
• Preschool/Head Start, ages 3 to 5.
• Child Care/Head Start and Early Head Start, ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Low fee based on monthly gross income.
• Home-based classes, for pregnant women, newborns to age 5.
Classes are free unless otherwise indicated.
In addition to preparing children for success in school, Promise provides health, dental and social services, nutritious meals, services for children of varying abilities, including those with disabilities, parent and family involvement and literacy and language development.
Promise Early Education Center classrooms are located in Lewiston, Auburn and Livermore, and serve children and families living, working or continuing their education in Androscoggin County.
Applications are always accepted.
Promise Early Education Center is funded in part by the United Way, State of Maine Department of Health and Human Services, and Lewiston and Auburn Community Development Block Grants.
