ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Sheila Rita Proctor Ward, 74, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 27, at Northside Hospital in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She was born in Lisbon, Dec. 28, 1942, the daughter of Louis and Loretta (Richard) Proctor. She enjoyed the outdoors and nature, gardening, family and friends, and going on cruises. She was a woman of many talents and a generous heart.
She is survived by daughter, Lisa Ward and her wife, Mel Cloutier, Lisbon Falls; daughter, Dawn Ward and her partner, Carol St. Pierre, Lewiston; son, Louis Ward and his wife, Michele Rose, St. Petersburg, Fla.; sister, Susan Kulig and her husband, Andrew, Standish; brother, Richard Proctor and his wife, Susan, Largo, Fla.; grandchildren, Emily, Ashley and Andrew; great-granddaughter, Charlotte; her beloved brothers-in-law, Richard Boisvert and Marcel Boisvert and their families.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. Ward.
She was a dear friend to many, and made everyone she knew feel special.
