AUBURN — The Auburn Public Library is issuing an adult summer reading challenge this summer that includes books, and possibly beach chairs, sunny days, and an ice-cold beverage.

Adults are encouraged to grab a book, their chairs and a cold drink and read as they strive to complete the Auburn Public Library “Build a Better World” reading Bingo Challenge.

The challenge begins on Monday, June 26, and ends Thursday, Aug. 10, at closing time. All participants need to do is visit the second floor, get a bingo entry card and complete various acts of kindness and spend some time escaping with great books of their own choice. When a participant has completed a row on the bingo card, he/she will be eligible for a prize drawing.

The Auburn Public Library also offers a summer reading program for children and teens.
