WARREN — The Department of Corrections confirmed the death of a prisoner from Greene at the Maine State Prison in Warren on Tuesday.

Henry E. Bishop, 74, died at approximately 10:14 a.m. Tuesday at Central Maine Medical Center.

Bishop was sentenced in 2016 to five years with all but three years suspended and two years’ probation for Class C sexual abuse of a minor. He served 11 months and 23 days of his sentence.

State police and the medical examiner were notified per police department and Attorney General’s Office protocols. They are reviewing the death.
