Turner’s own Kevin Libby will perform at the Turner gazebo at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 22. Though Kevin sings and plays blues and rock — country is what he’s about. According to his bio, it is common to hear him open an act with “I’m going to sing some country songs now because I love country and that’s what I’m about.” Libby has a honky-tonk style and a knack for storytelling in song. His latest album, “Free Man Yet,” was released in 2015. Bring a blanket or chair for seating. The show will go on rain or shine. The hat will be passed to help pay the musicians.
