The Vikings outpaced the Windjammers in shots on goal, 5-2, and corners, 8-6.
Goalie Jenna Stearns made four saves for Camden, while Kaisa Heikkinen and Madi Day combined for two saves for Oxford Hills in the winning effort.
St. Dom’s 9, North Yarmouth 0
AUBURN — Junior forward Caroline Johnson netted four goals and added an assist to lead St. Dom’s to a 9-0 blanking of North Yarmouth Academy in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
The Saints (6-0) dominated on offense, taking a 5-0 halftime lead. Hannah Trottier-Braun contributed two goals and three assists, while Paige Cote collected six points with a goal and five assists.
Goalie Eliza Tod made a whopping 22 saves for the Panthers (2-4), while Abby Slonina only needed to turn back one to earn the win in net for St. Dom’s.
Gardiner 1, Leavitt 0
TURNER — Madelin Walker scored off a deflected penalty corner at 26:10 of the second half to lift Gardiner to a 1-0 triumph over Leavitt in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
Samantha Martineau led the Hornets’ defense , while Paige Matheux also anchored in the circle.
Goalie Hailey Demascio stopped 10 shots for Leavitt in the losing effort.
Freeport 7, Gray-New Gloucester 1
GRAY — Natalie Anderson, Ally Randall and Hannah Groves each scored two goals as Freeport coasted to a 7-1 victory over Gray-New Gloucester in field hockey action Saturday.
The Falcons (4-0-1) were strong on offense with a 38-9 margin in shots on goal.
Emily Hargreaves netted the lone goal for the Patriots (1-4).
Goalie Alicia Credit had 23 saves for Gray-New Gloucester, while goalie Katelyn Rouleau prevented one to earn the win for Freeport.

AUBURN — Elizabeth Bellman found the back of the cage on a rebound to lift Edward Little to a 1-0 victory over Brunswick in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
The Red Eddies (3-3) took a 14-3 advantage in shots, and led 1-0 at the half.
Goalie Ainsley Harrower made 13 saves for the Dragons (2-4), while Elise Syphers diverted three to earn the win in net for Edward Little.

FARMINGTON — Samantha Ellis caged three goals as Mt. Blue embarked on a 7-0 shutout victory over Hampden in field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars (4-2) jumped out to a 4-0 halftime lead. Adelle Foss contributed two goals for Mt. Blue.
Goalie Taylor Guerrette sidetracked 22 shots for the Broncos (3-3), while goalies Erika McArthur and Brooke Bolduc interrupted one apiece for Mt. Blue in the winning effort.

GRAY — Laurel Thomas scored the eventual game-winning goal as Gray-New Gloucester dispatched Sacopee Valley 2-1 in girls’ soccer action Saturday.
The Patriots outpaced the Hawks 19-5 in shots on goal, and both teams scored their goals in the first half. Lakyn Hink notched the lone Hawk goal.
Goalie Kylie Day made eight saves for Sacopee Valley, while Chelsea Davis defended against two to earn the win in net for Gray-New Gloucester.
Traip 5, Poland 1
POLAND — Junior midfielder Lilly Kemp secured a hat trick as Traip jettisoned Poland 5-1 in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Rangers (3-0-1) capitalized on opportunities and led 2-0 at the half.
Freshman midfielder Halie Vachon scored a second-half goal for the Knights (1-3-1) to prevent the shutout.
Goalie Sydney Hudson had 12 saves for Poland, while Sommer Huntress stopped seven shots to earn the win in net for Traip.
Hampden 2, Mt. Blue 1
FARMINGTON — Freshman forward Amelia Maietta scored the game-clincher from the top of the 20 as Hampden notched a 2-1 victory over Mt. Blue in girls’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Broncos (3-2) trailed 1-0 at the half.
Kayla Legrand played solid defense for the Cougars (1-4), but wasn’t on the field of play when the game-deciding goal was netted.
Goalies Mackenzie Libby and Izzy Morin combined for eight saves for Mt. Blue, while Emily Dysart repelled four to earn the win in net for Hampden.

BUCKFIELD — The Rangeley and Buckfield girls’ soccer teams played to a scoreless tie in Class D South action Saturday.
Rangeley goalkeeper Sydney Royce made seven saves, and Buckfield’s Molly Bourget turned away six shots.
Bucks (2-0-1) coach Larry Thornton said Hannah Shields and Thea Quick led Buckfield’s defensive effort, and that Brooke Egan and Mary Sweeney were solid for the Lakers (2-1-1).

TURNER — Junior striker Garrett Addison booted a pair of goals to lead Leavitt to a 4-1 victory over Lawrence in boys’ soccer Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (0-5-1) posted the first goal of the game off the foot of senior center midfielder Sam Craig.
The Hornets (2-1-2) banked all three of their second half goals in the first 12 minutes of the frame.
Goalie Nick Reeves averted 14 saves for Lawrence, while Ben Hutchins and Blaine Clark combined for four saves for Leavitt.

HAMPDEN — Junior attackman Sam Smith scored the second and third goals to lift Mt. Blue to a 3-1 win over Hampden in boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Cougars (4-0-1) led 1-0 at the break.
The only Bronco score came off a header from Johnny Wolfington in the second half.

GRAY — Junior midfielder Juluis Rapp registered the first goal 10 minutes into the game as Gray-New Gloucester cruised to a 4-0 shutout victory over Lake Region in boys’ soccer action Saturday afternoon.
Matt Gurney opened things up for the Patriots (2-2) to make it 2-0 at the half.
Goalie C.J. Ferguson interrupted 12 shots for the Lakers (1-4), while Brannon Gilbert knocked down one to earn the win in net for Gray-New Gloucester.

LEWISTON — Noor Aden and Yusuf Mohamed each had two goals to pace Lewiston to a 5-0 victory over Cony in a boys’ soccer contest Saturday.

LEWISTON — Senior Caroline O’Reilly scored on a penalty corner to stake Bates to a 1-0 lead at the half as Bobcats rolled to a 3-0 victory over the University of Maine at Farmington in college field hockey action Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (1-3) notched their first win after opening the season with three losses to top-15 nationally ranked teams. First-year Lilly Nygren and senior Lauren Foster added scored in the second half.
Bates outshot the visiting Beavers (1-4) by a 35-2 margin and held a 10-1 advantage in penalty corners.
Bates junior goalie Adelae Durant played the first half but faced no shots on goal. Sophomore Alyssa Souza played the second half and made a pair of saves on back-to-back shots.

Bates 3, Newbury 1
BROOKLINE, Mass. — Sophomore Eric Opoku dished out a pair of assists and sophomore Austin Sansone scored his first career goal in a 3-1 victory for Bates over Newbury College in men’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Bobcats (3-0) got on the board in the 20th minute when Opoku chipped a ball from the left wing to the back post, and senior Nate Merchant headed the ball home for his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
Bates outshot the Nighthawks (2-4) by a margin of 23-8 on the day.
Junior Robbie Montanaro made four saves in goal for the Bobcats, while his counterpart Jarrod Smith made seven between the pipes for Newbury.
CMCC 7, Hampshire College 1
AUBURN — Abdullah Jashaami and Fiston Mubalama scored two goals each as the Central Maine Community College defeated Hampshire College 7-1 in men’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.
The Mustangs (1-1) took a 5-0 lead at the midpoint. Scott Hammond kept the Frogs (0-1) from being shutout with a second-half goal.
Goalies Jacoby Robinson and Mike Prindiville combined for seven saves in Central Maine’s first win of the season.

BABSON PARK, Mass. — Bates tallied 16 shots on the day and held Babson to just nine shots, but the Bobcats failed to score and succumbed 2-0 to the Beavers in women’s soccer action Saturday afternoon.
Sophomore Riley Turcotte led Bobcats (2-1) with four shots (two on goal) and first-year So Kim added three shots. Junior two-time All-NESCAC selection Olivia Amdur tallied a pair of shots on goal.
The Beavers (3-3) grabbed the early lead in the seventh minute when Victoria Penta connected with Katherine Cullen for the tally.

Bates wins Invitational
NEW GLOUCESTER — Sophomore Justin Levine was the first of four runners from the No. 24 nationally ranked Bates men’s cross country team to finish within the top five overall as the Bobcats defeated Tufts, Worcester Polytechnic and the University of Southern Maine at the Bates Invitational on Saturday at Pineland Farms.
Levine finished 7.2 seconds behind Vincent in 26:34.8 for second place out of 66 men, his first career race as Bates’ lead runner. Senior captain Zach Magin was third, followed by senior captain Ben Tonellli in fourth and junior Henry Wolt in fifth.
First-year Eliot Chalfin-Smith finished 21st with 27:30.7 and first-year Tucker Barber, a Mt. Blue graduate, came in 28th with a time of 27:40.0.
Women’s cross country
Bates finishes second in Invitational
NEW GLOUCESTER — Senior captain Katherine Cook crossed the finish line first as the No. 25 nationally ranked Bates women’s cross country team finished second to No. 11 Tufts at the Bates Invitational at Pineland Farms.
Cook finished the 5-kilometer course in 18:10.3, a 5:50.9 pace per mile, 5.8 seconds ahead of the runner-up, to capture her first career win in a collegiate cross country race.
Bobcats sophomore Olivia LaMarche finished fourth out of 75 individuals in a time of 18:46.0, while first-year Abigail Hamilton and junior Ayden Eickhoff placed sixth and seventh, repsectively.
