BENTON, Ark. — Richard E. Spugnardi, 77, of Benton, Ark., died March 5, 2017 at Mt. Carmel in Benton.
He was born in Lewiston, Jan. 30, 1940, son of Antonio and Mary Spugnardi. He enjoyed sailing, skiing, camping and motorcycling. He served in the U.S. Marines from 1957-1961.
He was a professor University of Southern Maine and a business owner. Richard was an outdoor adventurer, entrepreneur, educator and great dad.
He was predeceased by his parents, Antonio and Mary.
He is survived by three children, Ann Chouinard, Donna Holley, Rick Spugnardi; six granddaughters, Anna, Ella, Abby, Alexandra, Amy, and Keely Rose; two siblings, Robert Spugnardi and MaryAnn Dobbins.
