What is the matter with our government? Are they all crazy? Are they money-hungry?
Can you imagine $32 million to advertise the new $20 bill? They have printed pictures of it – so counterfeiters can get a good, up-close view, so they can get ready. Why not save our hard-earned dollars and let the banks just answer any questions we might have?
Add to that, the U.S. Senate voted themselves a raise again. I’ll bet many of us wish we could vote ourselves a raise. They have good health insurance, too. While we, who do have any health insurance at all, have $5,000 or $10,000 deductible each, separately, that we pay dearly for; and if we are self-employed – because there are so few jobs in Maine anymore – we pay all our own insurance out of our pockets.
I’m sure the Senators don’t have to live like this, and they can retire with a nice pension, while we work to our old age trying to pay for pills and keep our insurance.
Our government spending our dollars, the fleecing of the little people, again.
