Thank you for the great editorial in the Sun Journal concerning cycling, helmet use and cyclist-motorist relations (Oct. 16).

It really makes a difference to have those in the media explain such issues in an informative, unbiased manner. As someone who rides in the area (with a helmet) 5,000 to 6,000 miles annually, I see plenty of craziness on both sides of the cyclist-motorist issue.

Hopefully, the editorial can point the way forward, and allow cooler heads to prevail.
