When you visit the Rumford Falls Times’ display at the River Expo, you will see examples of why we continue to be the region’s community newspaper today as well as the pride in which we have served in that capacity sincebeing established in 1883.The theme of the Times’ booth will be about both the past and the present, with its employees dressed in attire of those early days.
Displayed will be the story of this historic newspaper as well as photographs of past Times’ employees and the famous Times’ Stage Coach. At the same time, the Times has come up with a variety of mock front pages, which will have YOU as the main character. Visit our booth, give us your name and the story you like, and we’ll create a front page you can take home and enjoy. Our booth will also feature displays of its celebrations page, local sports, the schools and, of course, Dot Sanchas’ column, “Kindness Counts.” There will also be examples of our photographs in vivid color, demonstrating that all Times’ staff photos are available to the public in color. We hope you will stay with us for awhile, so in case you get the munchies, plenty of goodies will be available for you as well. Also, check out the wide range of Times’ services – your one-stop printing source for flyers, newsletters, folders, business cards, brochures, envelopes, rubber stamps and more.
