AUBURN – Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Rookies recently completed their basketball season. In the final game, White edged Maroon, 16-14.
Sofia Hartley led White with six points. Jake Arel and Lucas Spiro each added four points apiece, while Storm Jipson chipped in two.
Grace Dumond, Ezekiel Spiro and Joel Stubbs each had four points for Maroon. Jacob Hodgman rounded out the scoring for Maroon with two points.
The Y would like to congratulate all of the participants for the program. Each player improved tremendously during the program and had a lot of fun.
Players in the Rookies program were: Storm Jipson, Joel Stubbs, Dan Milks, Jake Arel, Ella Perry, Sofia Hartley, Isaiah Smith, Lucas Spiro, Giles Paradie, Anson Perry, Grace Dumond, Aaron Galway, Jordan Cummings, Lydia Celani, Ezekiel Spiro and Jacob Hodgman.
The Y also wishes to thank all parents who helped out during the program and especially would like to thank students Ian Mileikis and C.J. Jipson, who volunteered during the program and helped out the players during their games.
