AUBURN – The Auburn-Lewiston YMCA Grade 5-6 girls’ basketball travel team is undefeated entering the playoffs after its 43-18 victory over Messalonskee.
Tianna Harriman led the ‘Y’ with 16 points, followed by Molly Murray with 10.
Emily Jacques contributed eight points.
Brooke Reynolds had seven, with Makayla Norcross notching two.
The playoffs will be contested Feb. 14 and 15 in Waterville.
Boys back on track
The ‘Y’ Grade 5-6 boys’ travel team bounced back from its only loss by topping Mt. View, 56-49, to finish 7-1 on the regular season. Ian Mileikis led the charge with 16 points. Seth Sterling had 10, while Bryce Gibson added eight and Llewellyn Jensen and Luke Sterling both chipped in six. Mitchell Bourisk poured in four points with CJ Jipson, Brandon Varney and Bo Norcross providing two points apiece.
