LEWISTON — Joseph F. White, 65, was called home suddenly by his Lord and Savior on Friday, Nov. 24, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, surrounded by his loving family. He was a resident of Virgin Street in Rumford.

He was a member of the Peru Baptist Church; he loved his camp at Garland Pond, which he helped build and had many fond memories with family and friends there; he loved creative woodworking, being outside, traveling — especially to Nova Scotia — children, music and panning for gold, and most importantly, family. Joe was a kind, active and outgoing person.
