MECHANIC FALLS — The Mechanic Falls Historical Society and the Anglican Church of the Transfiguration will serve the Souper Bowl Community Supper, featuring a variety of homemade soups, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Anglican Church, 64 Elm St.
The cost is $7 a person, and proceeds will be shared by both organizations.

NEW GLOUCESTER — AMVETS Post 6 will serve a bean supper from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, on Route 100.
Cost is $8 for adults and $3 for children younger than 12.

OXFORD — A lasagna dinner to benefit the Norway Trackers Snowmobile Club will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at Daddy O’s diner.
The cost of the meal is by donation. Proceeds will benefit the club and the trail system they maintain.

PARIS — A roast pork supper will be held from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the VFW Post 9787, 48 East Main St.

STONEHAM— A complimentary hot lunch provided by the Stoneham Aging In Place Project will be served from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, in the Stoneham community room behind the fire station and town office.

POLAND — The Friends of the Library group is sponsoring a Person-to-Person supper and entertainment on Sunday, Jan. 21, at the A.B. Ricker Library downstairs community room.
There will be a potluck supper from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. followed by a talk from 6:30 to 7:30. Linley Turking will speak about her family travels.
