Women’s club to meet
LIVERMORE FALLS — The GFWC/Livermore Falls Women’s Club held the annual Doris’ brunch on Jan. 25 with 15 members attending.
GFWC of Maine is offering a $1,000 scholarship. Go to GFWC/Maine.org to download an application. There is also an application for Student Interest-Free Loans. Both the scholarship and interest free loan applications are due by April 1.
The club’s next meeting will be on Feb. 2 at 9:30 a.m. at the North Livermore Baptist Church. Guest speaker will be Steve Maki from Spruce Mountain Pharmacy. This will also be a brown bag lunch, desserts and beverages will be provided.

Farmington Rotary to meet
FARMINGTON — The Farmington Rotary meets at 7 a.m. Thursdays in the Olsen Student Center at the University of Maine at Farmington.
New members are welcome. Childcare is available.
Hollandstrong Derby set for February
LIVERMORE — The third annual Hollandstrong Derby will take place Saturday, Feb. 10, at Round Pond. Registration will be held from 5 to 10 a.m.
Deadline for fish registration will be 4 p.m. Raffle prizes will be awarded at noon and a toast will be made to Mike Holland.
All proceeds will go to support the scholarship.
