LEWISTON — Mike Miclon’s “The Early Evening Show,” featuring stand-up comedy, sketches, juggling and more, will be the next in the Gendron Franco Center’s Comedy Series at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23. The late-night talk show spoof will take place on the Heritage Hall stage. The doors and bar will open at 6:30 p.m.

The show has been performed from Maine to Switzerland and built its reputation with a 14-year run at the Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield.

“Looking for a laugh-out-loud funny show?” asked Mitch Thomas, the center’s executive director, “It includes improvisation, sketch comedy, music, lots of special guests and surprises, and no two shows are ever alike.” The cast brings their warm personality and goofy sense of fun to the stage and sometimes an unsuspecting audience member or two.

Now in its 17th year, the late-night talk show spoof hosted by Maine’s own Mike Miclon is still packing in crowds and bringing the house down. Several popular Maine artists join the cast for this night of laughs and lively entertainment.

Admission is $15. Tickets can be purchased in advance at FrancoCenter.org, by calling 207-689-2000 or at the door. The Franco Center is handicapped accessible. All ticket proceeds benefit the center. On-site parking is available at the Continental Mill for a $5 fee, and free public parking can be found along Lincoln Street, a two-minute walk.

Box office hours at 46 Cedar St. are noon to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and two hours before every performance.
