ROBERTS JR. — Richard, of Dixfield, died at Portland on Monday, Jan. 8. Public memorial services with military honors will be held Wednesday at 1 pm from the Dixfield Congregational Church (Church on the Hill), High Street, Dixfield. Light refreshments will be served after the services in the church vestry. Interment will be at the new Maine Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Augusta. TARDIF — Gilles P., 83, of Sarasota, Fla., and Freeport, died peacefully after a short illness Tuesday, Feb. 20. Funeral services in memory of Gill will be held Friday, March 9, at 10 a.m. at St. Jude Church, Main St., Freeport, followed by a reception at the Harraseeket Inn, Freeport, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Committal prayers with military honors will conclude services for Gill at 3 p.m. at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Lewiston.
