New Auburn Seniors to meet
AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 7, for a business meeting and open bingo.
The May dinner will be fried chicken served Monday, May 21. Cost is $6, and those attending must purchase dinner tickets at the May 7 meeting.
Off Monday Bingo for seniors 50 and older will be played at noon on Monday, May 14.
All functions are held at Sacred Heart Church.
Sagadahoc County Beekeepers to meet
TOPSHAM — The Sagadahoc County Beekeepers Association will meet Wednesday, May 9, at the Topsham Grange Hall, 47 Pleasant St.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. for socializing and refreshments and the business meeting will start at 6:30, followed at 7 by guest speaker Mike McNally, who will give a presentation on splitting hives, oxalic acid and new treatments.
Anyone interested in beekeeping is invited.
OES chapter to honor past matrons, patrons
AUBURN — Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St.
The chapter will honor past matrons and patrons for all their years of service to the Order of the Eastern Star.
The meeting will be preceded by a potluck supper at 6 p.m. All Eastern Star members are welcome.
Grange to meet for dessert, program
AUBURN — Members of Danville Junction Grange will meet for dessert at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 10, at Danville Union Church. The business meeting will begin at 7 p.m. The program will be presented by the Agriculture Committee.
Members are reminded to bring clipped coupons for the troops and paper goods for PAL. All members and guests are invited to attend.
Elks plan dinner, dance benefit
LEWISTON — The Lewiston Elks Lodge 371 will have a spaghetti supper and a dance with music by the band Tattooed Lies to benefit the Maine Children’s Cancer fundraiser.
The event will be held at Saturday, May 12, at the lodge. The supper will be served at 5 p.m., and the dance will be from 7:30 to 11 p.m.
Tickets are available for $15 and $18. There will be a 50/50 raffle and other raffles for various prizes. All proceeds will benefit the program.

Lewiston Elks Lodge to hold Karaoke
LEWISTON — Lewiston Elks Lodge will host Karaoke for members and guests from 7 to 11 p.m. Fridays at 1675 Lisbon St.
Pinochle, pitch players welcome
LEWISTON — Pinochle and pitch card games for seniors are played weekly through May at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.
New players are always welcome. Pitch is played at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays. Pinochle is at 1 p.m. on Thursdays. Refresher courses are available in both categories.
The armory is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Players must become a member to participate.
