How do we stop the powerful and reckless National Rifle Association? Last year’s census numbers show more than 249 million people in the United States who are over 18 years old, with about 221 million who are eligible to vote. The NRA claims to have 5 million members. So, my point is, why are voters letting the NRA decide what is best for society?
Why do we let 5 million NRA members decide it is OK for the general public to have assault-style firearms?
Having done more research on the NRA, I found out that it is tax exempt, yet has a corporate worth of some $27 billion. The NRA can sell life and health insurance and offer members numerous discounts on commodities.
Gun manufacturers give money to the NRA, which then uses the money to fight gun control by offering some parasitical politicians bonuses.
Is that acceptable to the American public?
Until people free Washington from those parasites, the public will always be at their mercy.
