NORWAY – The annual Christ Church plant and cookie sale will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 31, at the church at Green and Paris streets in Norway.
All the plants have been grown by the donors. Many perennials will be available, including hosta for shade gardens, daylilies and other sunlovers, herbs and plants for rock gardens. In addition, there will be some shrubs, such as common lilac, as well as a few vegetable and annual flower seedlings and houseplants. Several of the gardeners who grew the plants will be working at the sale and available to give advice.
The bake sale portion of the sale will feature different varieties of cookies.
The sale is being organized by Ann Bickford, Jane Dann, Harriet Robinson and Lynda Soule.
