BUCKFIELD — Grace Kendall, a senior at Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School, has been selected to receive the 2003 Principal’s Award, Principal Ralph Peterson has announced.
The award sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Grace has been an outstanding student and role model while enrolled here at Buckfield Jr./Sr. High School. As a member of student council, the National Honor Society and the school leadership team she has had a very positive impact on the students and staff at our school.”
Kendall, Peterson and other award winners and their principals have been invited to an honors luncheon at the Bangor Civic Center on Saturday, April 5.
She is the daughter of Gary and Linda Kendall of Sumner.
