READFIELD – Stephen Hunter of Readfield, a senior at Maranacook Community High School, has been selected to receive the 2003 Principal’s Award. The award, sponsored by the Maine Principals’ Association, is given in recognition of a high school senior’s academic achievement and citizenship.
“Throughout his years at Maranacook, Stephen has distinguished himself in the classroom, on the playing field and as a leader in the school. He has modeled a work ethic that displays dedication, hard work and the highest standard of performance,”said Principal Lori Putnam. Hunter will receive an individual plaque and a scholarship from Maranacook Community High School.
