AUBURN – The following cases were closed recently in Androscoggin County Superior Court:

Jeffrey Scott Scammon, 23, Auburn, operating under the influence on May 20, found guilty, fined $500, license suspended 90 days.

Steven G. Scott, 53, Lewiston, operating under the influence on April 27, 2007, found guilty on April 27, fined $500, sentenced to 364 days, all but 120 says suspended, 1 year probation, license suspended 90 days.

James C. Seibert, 35, West Paris, criminal mischief on Nov. 1, 2007, filed with cost of $100.

Jesse Allen Shepherd, 33, Lisbon Falls, three charges assault, violating condition of release on Nov. 2, 2007, first charge dismissed; second charge found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 14 days; third charge found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 14 days; fourth charge dismissed.

Shane B. Small, 23, Lisbon Falls, burglary, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, two charges burglary of a motor vehicle, two charges theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Sept. 7, 2007, first charge dismissed; all other charges found guilty, sentenced to 48 hours, community service 80 hours within for each charge.

Wayne P. Soars, 50, Fall River, Mass., operating under the influence – two priors on Oct. 30, 2005, probation violation, sentenced to 8 months, probation partially revoked.

Doleen Sofianos, 49, Auburn, criminal restraint, endangering the welfare of a child on Nov. 26, 2007, first charge dismissed; second charge found guilty, sentenced to one day.

Travis Phillip Soule, 44, New Gloucester, operating under the influence – one prior, operating vehicle without license, conditions or restrictions, on Feb. 22, first charge found guilty, fined $700, sentenced to 12 days, license suspended 18 months; second charge dismissed.

Christopher P. St. Hilaire, 19, Poland, operating under the influence on March 9, found guilty, fined $500, license suspended 90 days.

David J. Strout, 18, Lewiston, aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs on March 14, dismissed.

Roger L. Syrell, 36, Lewiston, obstructing report of crime on Jan. 10, dismissed.

MacArthur Taylor, 35, Leominster, Mass., unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs, unlawful possession of scheduled drugs, operate vehicle without license, criminal forfeiture of property, trafficking in prison contraband, trafficking in prison contraband on Oct. 29, 2007, first three charges dismissed; fourth charge forfeited; fifth charge found guilty, sentenced to three years, all but nine months one day suspended, two probation; sixth charge dismissed.

Scott Taylor, 35, Windsor, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on April 16, 2002, sentenced to 30 days, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

Albert J. Thibodeau, 24, Auburn, operating vehicle without license, failure to register vehicle on April 5, first charge dismissed; second charge found guilty, fined $150.

Melissa Thomas, 21, Lewiston, operating under the influence on July 14, 2007, found guilty, fined $500, sentenced to 72 hours, license suspended 90 days.
