A story on Tuesday’s B1 mistakenly left some names off a list of local delegates to the All-America City contest in Anaheim, Calif., this week. The 14 Lewiston delegates hoping to win the title “All-America City” for Lewiston are Mayor Larry Gilbert, City Councilor Normand Rousseau, Deputy City Administrator Phil Nadeau, Community Relations Coordinator Dot Perham-Whittier, local performer Nick Knowlton, Empower Lewiston representative Hillary Verrill, Broadreach Public Relations’ Linda Varrell of Yarmouth, Lots of Gardens coordinator Kirsten Walter, Lots to Gardens youth gardener Bradley Esty, immigrant community representatives Azeb Hassan and Awil O. Bile, and Lewiston Advisory Council members Tim Stretton, Ashley Morgan and Luke Jensen.
Lewiston’s delegates will make their contest pitch before judges at 6:50 p.m. eastern time Thursday. Winners will be announced at an award ceremony Friday beginning at 10 p.m. eastern time.
