OTISFIELD — Jeanette M. Hinckley, 85, of Otisfield went to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 21, at home, with her family by her side.

She was born in Portland on Oct. 14, 1932, the daughter of Frederick M. and Jennie Mae Larrabee Hall. She married Beverly A. Hinckley on June 30, 1963. She worked in local shoe shops before moving to Texas, where she worked at the Dallas Fort-Worth Airport. Returning to Maine, she worked at Newton-Tebbetts Mill.

She enjoyed gardening, playing video games with her grandchildren, coloring in color books and going to the races at Oxford Plains Speedway. She always had a big smile. She was a collector of Betty Boop items. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford.

Jeanette is survived by her children: David and Sylvia of New Gloucester; Roger of Granbury, Texas; Linda and Roland Verrill of Otisfield; Harold and Becky of Rumford; Bill and Tammy of Bethel; and Clyde and Mindy of Sumner; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sisters Dorothy Frost, Janice Godwin, Peggy Cummings and Violet Rose.

She was predeceased by her husband and by her son, Allen Hinckley.
