LIVERMORE FALLS – A Lincoln man was arrested Sunday after police allegedly found illegal drugs in his possession during a routine traffic stop.

Gregory Smart, 28, was charged with furnishing marijuana and possession of a Schedule W drug: prescription medication that did not belong to him, Police Chief Ernest Steward Jr. said.

Further charges are pending, he said.

Officers Steve Gould and Maurice Drouin handled the case.

Smart was stopped about 5 p.m. on Main Street, Steward said.
